Zero 60 launches 26 EV charging ports in California

Zero 60 has significantly expanded its electric vehicle charging network in California by adding 26 new charging ports across three locations in central and northern parts of the state. This development increases the company’s total to 127 charging ports spread over 23 sites across five states, including California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and Wisconsin. The company targets high-traffic venues such as quick-service restaurants, retail centres, and travel corridors to ensure convenience for EV drivers. The expansion was supported by Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI), which handled site development, construction, commissioning, and ongoing operational support. Zero 60 emphasises rapid deployment to meet growing demand, with plans to introduce an additional 50 charging points nationwide in the near future. This strategic growth underlines the company’s commitment to scaling its infrastructure efficiently while maintaining a focus on driver convenience and reliability. Joe Vancik, Zero 60’s eMobility Program Manager, highlighted the importance of aligning strategy, partnerships, and execution to achieve such rapid capacity increases. He described the recent expansion as just the beginning of the company’s broader ambitions to scale its network. Similarly, Wade Leipold, Executive Vice President of Faith Technologies, praised the collaboration between the two organisations, emphasising their shared focus on delivering a dependable and user-friendly charging experience. The accelerated rollout of new charging infrastructure by Zero 60 reflects the broader trend in the electric vehicle market towards improving accessibility and convenience for drivers. By prioritising locations with high footfall and utilising strong partnerships, Zero 60 is positioning itself as a key player in the evolving US EV charging landscape.
