Volvo announces Australian pricing for luxury EX60 electric SUV
Summary By: eMotoX
Volvo has revealed the Australian pricing for its new EX60 luxury electric SUV, set to arrive later this year. The mid-size model will be offered in two variants: the rear-wheel-drive P6 priced from $86,990 and the all-wheel-drive P10 starting at $101,990, both prices excluding on-road costs. The EX60 boasts an impressive range, with the P6 capable of up to 610 kilometres and the P10 extending to 660 kilometres, based on WLTP figures.
Built on Volvo’s SPA3 platform with an 800V electrical architecture, the EX60 features the company’s HuginCore system and comes with a ten-year battery warranty. The P6 is equipped with an 83kWh battery, while the P10 has a larger 95kWh pack. Although a third variant with a 117kWh battery and over 810 kilometres of range is available overseas, Volvo has no current plans to introduce this version to the Australian market.
The EX60 is packed with advanced technology and premium features, including Google’s AI assistant Gemini and a suite of safety innovations. Notably, it introduces Volvo’s multi-adaptive safety belt, a world-first system designed to provide smarter, personalised protection for front-seat occupants. The SUV also includes a 28-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system with headrest speakers in all four main seats and is the first Volvo to come with Apple Music pre-installed, delivering immersive Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio.
Additional luxury touches include an electrochromic panoramic roof, rear glass tinting, and integrated child booster cushions as standard across both variants. The higher-spec P10 AWD model adds active suspension to enhance ride comfort and handling. Volvo’s latest offering aims to blend cutting-edge electric vehicle technology with the brand’s longstanding commitment to safety and premium design, positioning the EX60 as a strong contender in Australia’s growing luxury EV market.
