Presto to provide software platform for bp pulse’s US EV charging network

bp pulse, the electric vehicle charging division of global energy company bp, is set to integrate its extensive US charging network with Presto, a leading EV charging platform serving fleets, mobility providers, and businesses. This partnership will allow EV drivers using Presto’s app to easily locate bp pulse’s more than 8,000 charging points across 46 states, check real-time charger availability, and start charging sessions directly through the platform. The collaboration aims to enhance the overall user experience by streamlining access to bp pulse’s growing network, which includes several high-capacity hubs near major airports such as Los Angeles International and Chicago O’Hare. The integration is particularly focused on increasing utilisation of bp pulse’s chargers by tapping into Presto’s established fleet customer base. Presto’s platform is widely used by high-mileage fleet segments, including rideshare operators, rental car companies, last-mile delivery services, and other commercial operators. By connecting these fleets with bp pulse’s ultra-fast charging infrastructure, both companies expect to facilitate more efficient and reliable charging solutions tailored to the demanding needs of commercial drivers who require predictable uptime.
