OBE Power to deploy thousands of ChargePoint EV chargers at multifamily residences

By taking on these responsibilities, OBE Power seeks to simplify the process of installing and managing EV chargers in apartment complexes and similar residential settings, which often struggle with the complexities of EV infrastructure deployment.
Executives from both companies highlighted the significance of expanding their collaboration beyond hotels and hospitality into multifamily housing. Rick Wilmer, CEO of ChargePoint, emphasised the importance of providing residents with convenient access to EV charging where they live, addressing a long-standing gap in the market. Alejandro Burgana, co-founder and Managing Director of OBE Power, noted that their decade-long partnership has built a strong foundation of reliability and performance, which they now aim to leverage to meet the specific needs of multifamily communities.
