Nissan Formula E Team secured a commanding victory at the Monaco E-Prix, Round 10 of the 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, with Oliver Rowland delivering a masterful performance. After a challenging Saturday where Rowland and teammate Norman Nato struggled with qualifying and race incidents, the team bounced back strongly. Rowland started eighth on the grid and executed a strategic race, utilising energy conservation and well-timed Attack Mode activations to surge into the lead and maintain control until the finish, also claiming the fastest lap point. The weekend began with difficulties for both drivers, as Rowland and Nato qualified 12th and 14th respectively for Saturday’s race, which saw Rowland suffer a puncture and Nato receive a drive-through penalty for a tyre pressure infringement. These setbacks hindered their progress, with Rowland finishing 15th and Nato 14th. However, qualifying for Sunday’s race showed improvement, with Rowland reaching the Duels stage and Nato narrowly missing out, setting the stage for a more competitive second race. Team principal Tommaso Volpe expressed satisfaction with the turnaround, highlighting the team’s resilience and strategic execution. He emphasised that the Monaco victory, their second consecutive at the venue, reflects the potential of the team and drivers as they move into the latter half of the season.
