Lynk & Co Unveils First‑Ever GT Concept “Time To Shine” At Beijing Auto Show

Lynk & Co has unveiled its inaugural Gran Turismo concept car, “Time to Shine,” at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, marking a significant milestone as the brand celebrates its tenth anniversary. This two-door GT concept embodies a decade of design evolution, motorsport heritage, and performance ambition, signalling a bold new chapter for Lynk & Co. The car’s design is intended as both a tribute to the brand’s past and a clear statement of its future direction, emphasising confidence, emotion, and a strong driver connection. The “Time to Shine” concept features classic wide-body GT proportions with a length of 4,780 mm and a low, purposeful stance. Its exterior is defined by a dynamic play of light across the bodywork, finished in a striking Apex Blue liquid-metal paint with Spark Yellow accents that nod to the brand’s racing DNA. Inside, the car balances warmth and performance with a refined 2+2 seating layout, white Digital Shimmer leather, and hand-inlaid Textreme® 360 carbon fibre, blending advanced materials with artisanal craftsmanship. A standout feature is the physical Spark Yellow “+” button on the centre console, which activates a performance mode that lowers the suspension, extends aerodynamic elements, and deploys a rear wing to enhance downforce and stability. This mode also simplifies the digital displays, allowing the driver to focus solely on the driving experience. The concept’s rear-wheel-drive layout, track-inspired chassis, and AI-powered vehicle motion control underpin its high-performance credentials, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just two seconds. Developed through a collaboration between Lynk & Co’s Swedish design team and partners across Europe and China, the concept reflects the brand’s global identity and Scandinavian design roots. Lynk & Co intends to gather feedback from its community and the wider public to inform future decisions regarding powertrain options and potential production. With “Time to Shine,” Lynk & Co not only celebrates its past achievements, including nine touring car championships, but also signals its commitment to pushing the boundaries of modern, performance-oriented mobility.
