FlixBus and Green Drive Mobility to launch electric intercity bus services in India

The initial phase will see four electric buses operating along the Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam corridor, a busy route linking two major economic and cultural centres in Andhra Pradesh. This route is known for its high passenger volume, making it an ideal testing ground for the new electric fleet. The partnership combines FlixBus’s expertise in travel technology and digital ticketing with Green Drive Mobility’s capabilities in electric vehicle operations and infrastructure. Passengers will benefit from modern electric buses offering enhanced comfort and convenience, alongside the ease of booking tickets through FlixBus’s established digital platform.
