EV charger manufacturer XCharge opens a new assembly facility in Spain

XCharge North America has inaugurated its first European assembly facility in Valencia, Spain, marking a significant expansion of its manufacturing footprint. The new 3,000-square-metre plant will focus on assembling and testing some of the company’s most advanced EV charging hardware, including the high-power C7 charger and the innovative GridLink system. These products highlight XCharge’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions capable of supporting rapid electric vehicle charging with enhanced efficiency. The Valencia facility is strategically important for XCharge’s global operations, particularly in diversifying its supply chain beyond North America. By establishing a presence in Europe, the company aims to streamline production and distribution across multiple markets, reducing logistical complexities and improving responsiveness to regional demand. This move also aligns with broader industry trends emphasising localisation and resilience in supply chains amid ongoing global uncertainties.
