Two Top Ten Finishes for the De Baets AIT Racing Team in Harfsen

The De Baets AIT Racing team delivered strong performances at the second round of the Dutch Masters of Motocross in Harfsen, with riders Torre van Mechgelen and Dex Kooiker both securing top ten finishes. Torre impressed in time practice by posting the third-fastest lap, setting high expectations for the motos. Despite a challenging start in the first race, where he was pushed wide and dropped to fifth, Torre maintained a competitive pace and was closing in on the podium before a crash ended his charge, ultimately finishing seventh. Dex Kooiker also showed resilience after qualifying third in his group, but an early mistake forced him to fight back from outside the top 20. Demonstrating strong racecraft and determination, Kooiker managed to climb through the field and secure ninth place by the finish. Meanwhile, in the 250 class, Vencislav Toshev qualified eleventh and made significant progress during the race, moving from outside the top 30 to finish seventeenth and earn points. The event was notably affected by heavy rainfall, which led to the cancellation of the second motos. As a result, the standings from the first races were used to determine the overall results for the day. Looking ahead, the Dutch Masters of Motocross will continue with its next round scheduled for Sunday, 17 May, in Markelo, where the De Baets AIT Racing team will aim to build on their solid performances in Harfsen.
