Romain Febvre: “The FIM have no respect for the riders”

Romain Febvre expressed strong criticism of the FIM following a turbulent MXGP of France weekend, highlighting serious concerns over rider safety and race management. The Kawasaki rider was particularly vocal about the handling of a severe crash involving fellow Frenchman Thibault Benistant, who remained on the track under yellow flags for several laps before being airlifted to hospital. Febvre questioned why a red flag was not deployed immediately, accusing the FIM of showing a lack of respect for the riders and failing to act appropriately in a potentially life-threatening situation.
