Indian supercross racing league opens global rider registrations for season 3 mega auction

The Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) has officially opened global rider registrations for its Season 3 Mega Auction, signalling the next stage in the league’s expansion. Scheduled to take place between October and December 2026, the upcoming season promises to build on the momentum generated by Season 2, which featured over 155 riders from 13 countries and attracted a combined live and broadcast audience exceeding 14 million. The league, recognised as the world’s first franchise-based Supercross competition, is preparing to announce its race calendar and host cities shortly, setting the stage for an intensified and highly competitive campaign. Season 2 marked a significant milestone for ISRL, elevating the profile of motorsport in India and showcasing the country as a viable destination for world-class Supercross racing. The league successfully blended international talent with home-grown riders, creating a competitive ecosystem that attracted some of the biggest names in the sport, including nine-time Australian champion Matt Moss and 2014 MX2 World Champion Jordi Tixier. The six franchise teams will now enter a high-stakes auction to assemble their squads for Season 3, with categories spanning 450cc International, 250cc International, and 250cc India–Asia Mix, further emphasising the league’s global reach and inclusive approach. Key figures involved with ISRL have expressed strong optimism about the league’s trajectory. Co-founder Eeshan Lokhande highlighted the league’s transition from proving a concept to establishing a sustainable competitive platform that elevates Indian motorsport on the world stage.
