Yamaha has unveiled the 2027 models of its YZ85 and YZ85LW motocross bikes, targeting younger riders with a comprehensive suite of updates designed to enhance rideability, performance, and durability. Recognised as a crucial platform for emerging racers, the new models focus on delivering smoother power delivery across the entire rev range, making the bikes more accessible to developing riders while still supporting skill progression. The updates reflect Yamaha’s commitment to refining the YZ85’s role as a stepping stone within the motocross hierarchy.
