FIM WORLD SUPERCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP ANNOUNCES FIRST WAVE OF RIDERS FOR 2026 SEASON

The FIM World Supercross Championship has revealed the first group of riders confirmed for the 2026 season, signalling the early stages of what promises to be a highly competitive year. Notably, Quad Lock Honda will feature the return of Joey Savatgy and Christian Craig, who finished second and third respectively in the 2025 championship. Both riders demonstrated strong and consistent performances last season, and they are expected to continue their title bids as the new campaign approaches. Electric racing continues to gain traction within the championship, with Stark Racing entering its second season. The Spanish team will retain riders Vince Friese and Jorge Zaragoza, who impressed during their debut year. Armed with valuable data and experience, Stark Racing aims to showcase the potential of electric supercross machines to compete at the front of the field, further integrating electric technology into the sport’s competitive fabric. The 2026 season will also see the introduction of a new team, 595 Racing, which will make its World Supercross debut with Greg Aranda as its first confirmed rider.
