News: Mondraker ZENDIT, Mondraker’s first eMTB with Avinox Motor

Mondraker has unveiled the ZENDIT, its first e-mountain bike equipped with the Avinox motor system, positioning it as the new flagship within the Spanish brand’s lineup. Drawing on expertise gained from the Summum downhill race bike, the ZENDIT combines a robust suspension platform with a fully integrated electric drive. The bike features adjustable geometry via a flip chip and offers the unique ability to switch between 27.5” and 29” rear wheels without altering the overall frame geometry, underscoring its versatility for different riding styles and terrains. The ZENDIT is available in three distinct variants, each powered by the Avinox motor and battery system but differentiated by componentry and price. The top-tier ZENDIT XR, priced at €12,499, boasts premium features including a FOX X2 shock, FOX Podium fork with GRIP X2 damper, SRAM MAVEN Ultimate brakes, and an electronic SRAM X0 AXS drivetrain. It also includes a wireless RockShox Reverb AXS dropper post and a fast charger as standard. The mid-range RR S model at €10,499 offers much of the same performance but omits the electronic dropper, fast charger, and FOX X2 shock, resulting in a lighter overall weight. The entry-level RR at €8,499 provides a solid setup with a FOX 38 Factory fork and FLOAT X shock but uses more basic brakes and a mechanical SRAM drivetrain, making it the lightest in the range. Attention to detail is evident in the ZENDIT’s construction, with a fully CNC-machined frame finish providing refined edges and precision that enhances both aesthetics and durability. Cable routing has been optimised for practicality, with ports on either side of the head tube simplifying maintenance and improving tidiness. The bike’s carbon rocker link is a standout feature, protected by an integrated fender to shield critical components from debris, while the flip chip system at the rear enables quick conversion to a full 29er setup, expanding the bike’s adaptability. The introduction of the ZENDIT marks a significant step for Mondraker, as it integrates advanced electric drive technology with the brand’s signature aggressive geometry and race-inspired suspension. By offering a range of specifications, the ZENDIT caters to riders seeking either high-end performance or a more accessible entry point into eMTBs without compromising on core features.
