Wheels Manufacturing has introduced a new range of 1x chainrings designed specifically to fit SRAM’s 8-bolt direct mount pattern, catering to gravel riders seeking a combination of performance and durability. These chainrings are crafted from high-quality 7075 aluminium and feature a narrow-wide tooth profile available in both SRAM and Shimano-compatible designs. Riders can choose from four sizes—40, 42, 44, and 46 teeth—each engineered with a 6.5mm inboard offset to ensure optimal chainline alignment. The new chainrings are offered in seven anodised colours, including black, blue, teal, green, red, purple, and orange, allowing users to match them with Wheels Manufacturing’s singlespeed cogs and spacers for a customised look. Weight-wise, the chainrings range from just under 100 grams for the 40-tooth version to approximately 114 grams for the 46-tooth option, striking a balance between lightweight construction and robustness.
