Picnic PostNL is centring its strategy for the upcoming Paris-Roubaix Femmes around Pfeiffer Georgi, the team’s standout one-day specialist who finished third in the 2024 edition of the race. The 25-year-old British rider has consistently improved her performance in this event since its inception in 2021, moving from ninth place in 2022 to eighth in 2023, and now securing a podium finish. Her strong form this season, demonstrated by near top-ten results in prestigious races like Milan-San Remo and Trofeo Alfredo Binda, has reinforced the team’s confidence in her potential to contend for victory. Team coach Callum Ferguson emphasised the importance of teamwork and meticulous preparation in supporting Georgi’s ambitions. He highlighted that the squad has been carefully assembled to ensure Georgi is positioned optimally for the race’s decisive moments. Ferguson expressed a clear objective to leave no detail overlooked in their efforts, believing that bringing Georgi into the final phase in peak condition is crucial to challenging for a top result.
