Troy Lee Designs Launches New Stage Stunt ¾-Shell MTB Helmet

Troy Lee Designs has introduced the Stage Stunt, a new ¾-shell mountain bike helmet designed to offer extended coverage without the bulk of a full-face chinbar. This latest addition builds on the success of the popular Stage full-face model by removing the chinbar to enhance airflow and reduce weight, while still providing more protection than a traditional half-shell helmet. The Stage Stunt maintains the distinctive styling and vent layout familiar to Troy Lee Designs fans, catering to riders who want a balance between safety and ventilation. The helmet features a lightweight, fibre-reinforced polycarbonate shell with dual-density EPS foam to manage impacts of varying severity. For rotational impact protection, Troy Lee Designs has integrated the Mips Integra Fuse system, which is designed to be low-profile and silent, without compromising ventilation. Additional comfort and fit adjustments include magnetic Fidlock buckle closure, adjustable Dri-lex cheek pads, neck rolls, and a three-position adjustable visor that is compatible with goggles and glasses. Ventilation is a key focus of the Stage Stunt, with nine intake ports and thirteen exhaust vents engineered to maximise airflow during intense rides. Weighing in at approximately 550 grams, the helmet is notably light for its category and is offered in three size ranges to accommodate a wide variety of riders. Safety certifications include CPSC 1203, CE EN1078, AS-NZS 2063, and NTA8776 for e-bike use, reflecting its versatility across different cycling disciplines. The Stage Stunt is available now through the Troy Lee Designs website and select retailers, offered in six colourways ranging from subtle Drone Black to more distinctive Pinstripe White and Black. Pricing starts at $305, with options for custom lettering or full custom paint jobs available for an additional fee.
