The Ten07 Unicorn Pony represents a significant development in compact cargo bike design, offering a smaller alternative to the original Unicorn model. Designed specifically to fit into tight urban spaces such as small apartments and narrow hallways, the Pony features a notably reduced footprint while maintaining the utility expected of a cargo bike. Its mixed wheel configuration, with a 20-inch front and 24-inch rear wheel, shortens the wheelbase and enhances handling agility, making it a practical choice for city dwellers seeking manoeuvrability without sacrificing cargo capacity. Key to the Pony’s design is its simplicity compared to the original Unicorn. Unlike the more complex linkage steering system found on its predecessor, the Pony employs a straightforward fork mounted directly under the handlebar with a continuous steerer tube. This not only reduces mechanical complexity but also allows for additional mounting options, including fork mounts and expanded rear rack compatibility. The front cargo platform remains removable and compact, constructed from durable aluminium and designed to keep the load’s centre of gravity low for improved stability. Constructed from 25CrMo4 butted chromoly steel, the frame balances strength and weight, supporting a combined rider and cargo load of up to 130 kilograms. The bike accommodates riders ranging from 1.5 to 2 metres tall through an adjustable cockpit, making it versatile for a wide range of users. Additional features include modular sliding dropouts for axle compatibility, internal cable routing for lighting and gear components, and compatibility with belt drives, underscoring the model’s adaptability and attention to practical urban cycling needs. The Ten07 Unicorn Pony is offered in three colour options: Confetti, Night Rider, and a limited edition Raw finish. Pricing starts at €999 for the frameset, with fully equipped builds available for around €2,249. The bike is currently available for pre-order, with shipments expected to begin in November.
