Revelate Reimagines the Mag-Tank, Introduces Mag-Tank FastTrack and Extended Play Top Tube Bags

Revelate Designs has unveiled significant updates to its popular Mag-Tank top tube bag, originally launched in 2017. The refreshed Mag-Tank features enhanced weather resistance, improved stability, and a more user-friendly attachment system. Maintaining its distinctive wedge shape and magnetic flap closure, the new version incorporates advanced materials such as 210 D TPU-laminated nylon ripstop with RF-welded seams, alongside a Fidlock magnetic buckle for secure, one-handed operation. Additional refinements include a removable TPU liner for easy cleaning, an internal key clip, and a cable port for charging cables, all contributing to a more versatile and durable design. Alongside the updated Mag-Tank, Revelate has introduced the Mag-Tank FastTrack, a model designed for rapid installation and removal. This variant replaces the traditional strap system with a bolt-on, quick-release mounting bracket that attaches to bikes equipped with top-tube mounts. The bag slides onto the bracket and locks in place with a spring-tensioned latch, offering a streamlined solution for riders seeking convenience without compromising security. Priced slightly higher than the standard Mag-Tank, the FastTrack system caters to cyclists who prioritise quick adaptability during their rides. For riders requiring greater storage capacity, particularly those engaged in ultra-endurance events or extended bikepacking trips, Revelate has launched the Extended Play top tube bags. Available in 14-inch and 18-inch sizes, these bags provide 1.5 and 2.0 litres of storage respectively, making them the brand’s largest top tube offerings to date. Constructed from the same durable materials as the Mag-Tank, the Extended Play bags feature molded-tooth zippers, a formed internal structure for added stability, and adjustable rubber mounting pads to ensure a secure fit on various frame sizes. The inclusion of multiple mounting points and a cable port further enhances their practicality for long-distance riders. The new range is now available through Revelate’s website and authorised dealers, offering cyclists a variety of options tailored to different riding styles and storage needs.
