Thymen Arensman has emerged as Netcompany Ineos’ leading general classification contender at this year’s Giro d’Italia, following a strong performance in the race’s early mountain stages. While co-leader and former winner Egan Bernal has struggled to keep pace, losing significant time on key climbs, Arensman has steadily improved, highlighted by a fourth-place finish on the demanding Corno alle Scale ascent. This result propelled him to sixth overall, positioning him as the team’s primary hope for a podium challenge as the race progresses.
