Skylar Schneider and Dario Rapps claimed victories in the opening races of the American Criterium Cup at the Saint Francis Tulsa Tough, held at the Blue Dome Criterium in Oklahoma. Schneider, representing L39ION of Los Angeles, won a thrilling women's race decided by a photo finish against Kendall Ryan of Caldera Medical x Aurea Racing. Rapps, riding for DCC, secured the men's title after a tactical and aggressive race, edging out strong competition from Foundation Cycling New York and Team Cadence Cyclery. The women’s race was marked by strategic control from Caldera Medical x Aurea Racing, who dominated the peloton and set up their leader Kendall Ryan for a late attack. Despite this, Schneider launched multiple counterattacks and timed her final sprint perfectly to snatch victory on the last corner. The men’s contest saw a fast-paced and attack-heavy race, with Foundation New York initially controlling the pace for their riders Bryan Gomez and Jordan Parra. However, Rapps launched a decisive move in the closing laps, overcoming a late challenge from Lucas Bourgoyne to take the win.
