Positioned as a ‘halo’ product, the jersey is designed not only to perform well but also to elevate the brand’s overall image. The collection itself is limited, featuring only a few items including bib shorts, mitts, caps, socks, and the jersey, making it a focused range for warm weather riding rather than all-season use. The jersey’s standout feature is its unique construction, utilising two separate stretch woven fabrics made from recycled polyester. This results in a lightweight yet dense fabric that feels akin to a thin softshell rather than a traditional cycling jersey. The design incorporates a mix of stitched and bonded seams for a sleek appearance, along with subtle branding and practical details such as three bellows-style rear pockets and a security zip pocket. The fit is close and skin-tight, with raw-cut sleeves featuring textured grippers and ribbing to enhance fit and add visual interest. On the road, the Premio Evo performs well, particularly when layered under a gilet or waterproof, as its smooth fabric minimises drag and snagging. Breathability is impressive, handling both humid UK heatwaves and drier European conditions without issue.
