CRAFTED: Southeast Bicycle & Gear Showcase to Be Held at Cane Creek HQ

Cane Creek, the renowned cycling component manufacturer based in Fletcher, North Carolina, is set to host the inaugural Crafted: Southeast Bicycle and Gear Show on 26-27 September 2026. This event marks the first dedicated showcase in the Southeastern United States focused on handmade bicycles, custom components, and cycling craftsmanship. Open to the public and free of charge, the show aims to bring together local builders, cyclists, and enthusiasts to celebrate the region’s vibrant but often overlooked cycling industry. The showcase is strategically located near downtown Asheville and the Pisgah National Forest, areas known for their rich cycling culture and scenic trails. Cane Creek’s OEM Sales Manager, Bryan Flack, emphasised the importance of highlighting the Southeast’s small frame builders and custom gear makers, noting that while similar events exist in the West and Europe, this show aims to shine a spotlight on the unique talents found closer to home. The event is designed to foster community engagement by connecting riders with the craftsmen behind the bikes and components they admire. Attendees can expect a diverse range of activities, including the opportunity to explore handmade bikes and parts, engage directly with makers, and support smaller industry names.
