YT Officially Launches Its Avinox-Powered Decoy X CORE Range of eMTBs

YT Industries has officially launched its new Decoy X CORE range of electric mountain bikes, powered by the recently introduced Avinox M2S drive unit. This follows the earlier release of the high-end Decoy X Launch Edition, expanding the lineup to include four additional models priced between €4,499 and €7,499. The CORE range shares a robust hydroformed aluminium frame with 160mm of rear-wheel travel and a 170mm fork, positioning these bikes firmly within the e-enduro category, designed for aggressive trail riding. The standout feature across the Decoy X CORE models is the Avinox M2S motor, which delivers up to 1,300W of peak power and 130Nm of torque, with short bursts reaching 1,500W and 150Nm in Boost mode. All models come equipped with an 800Wh battery, ensuring extended range for demanding rides. The bike’s geometry supports its enduro focus, featuring a long, slack, and low frame with adjustable angles via a flip-chip, allowing riders to fine-tune head tube and seat tube positions for optimal handling. The CORE range offers a variety of builds to suit different budgets and preferences, from the entry-level CORE 1 at €4,499 to the premium CORE 4 at €7,499. Components vary accordingly, with the higher-spec models featuring Fox Factory suspension, SRAM’s top-tier Eagle drivetrains, and DT Swiss wheels, while the more affordable options use Marzocchi suspension and SRAM’s mid-level components. All bikes share the mixed-wheel setup of a 29-inch front and 27.5-inch rear, aimed at balancing agility and stability on technical terrain. YT has made the Decoy X CORE range available for preorder in Europe and the UK, with plans to release the bikes in the US later in the summer. This launch reinforces YT’s commitment to delivering high-performance eMTBs equipped with cutting-edge technology, catering to riders seeking powerful, versatile machines for aggressive trail and enduro riding.
