The third round of the CAD2M Dutch Masters of Motocross in Markelo showcased thrilling competition across all four classes, delighting spectators with top-tier racing under ideal weather conditions. Kay de Wolf made a notable return from a thumb injury by securing his first 500cc class victory, edging out a fierce battle with Jeffrey Herlings, who finished second overall. Romain Febvre completed the podium, while Glenn Coldenhoff and Calvin Vlaanderen rounded out the top five, highlighting the depth of talent in the premier category. In the 250cc class, Belgian rider Liam Everts dominated proceedings, winning both motos to claim a decisive overall victory. The Reisulis brothers, Janis and Karlis, took second and third respectively, demonstrating strong and consistent performances. Kay Karssemakers impressed by leading much of the second moto, ultimately finishing fourth ahead of Dani Heitink, underscoring the competitive nature of this category. The 125cc races were equally captivating, with Dex Kooiker emerging victorious thanks to a solid second place followed by a moto win. Timo Heuver, despite crashing at the start of the second moto and suffering a subsequent fall, fought back to secure third place overall and reclaimed the championship lead. Damian Wedage also showed resilience, recovering from a poor start to finish third overall after strong finishes in both motos. In the 85cc class, Luca Nierychlo was the standout performer, dominating the event by winning both motos and clinching the championship title. Harry Dale consistently finished second in both races to secure the runner-up spot, while Kenzo Jaspers completed the podium. The event set the stage for a highly anticipated final round, scheduled to take place in Markelo on 12 July, where championship titles will be decided.
