Philadelphia Cycling Classic confirms seven WorldTour teams in men's and women's fields for Manayunk Wall challenge - North American Roundup

The Philadelphia Cycling Classic has confirmed the participation of seven WorldTour teams across its men’s and women’s races, set to take place on 30 August along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The event features UCI 1.1-level competitions, with the women’s race covering 100km starting at 8:30 a.m. EDT, followed by the men’s 200km race at 12:30 p.m. Both events will use the traditional 23.1km circuit, which includes the challenging Manayunk Wall and Lemon Hill climbs, landmarks that have become synonymous with the race’s identity. Among the women’s field, Canyon-SRAM zondacrypto and Human Powered Health are the two WorldTour squads confirmed, supported by four Continental and 12 domestic elite teams. The men’s race boasts a stronger WorldTour presence, with five teams including Lotto-Intermarché, Team Jayco AlUla, NSN Cycling Team, Lidl-Trek, and EF Education-EasyPost.
