Juiced Bikes has re-emerged on the e-bike scene with a refreshed version of its Scrambler model, this time offering a full-suspension (FS) variant that emphasises comfort without sacrificing power or affordability. The California-based brand, recently revived by the founders of Lectric Bikes, has equipped the Scrambler FS with a robust 52V, 750W motor capable of delivering up to 1,764W peak output and 90 Nm of torque. This model also features a sizeable 998-Wh battery, four-piston hydraulic brakes, and a suspension setup comparable to electric dirt bikes, making it a compelling option for riders seeking a blend of street-legal performance and off-road capability. The standout feature of the Scrambler FS is its dual suspension system, including a rear shock that significantly smooths out the ride by absorbing bumps and vibrations, a clear advantage over the hardtail (HT) version. This makes the FS model particularly suitable for riders prioritising comfort on varied terrain, offering a soft yet stable ride both on and off-road. Despite its relatively heavy weight of around 88 pounds, the bike’s design provides a roomy cockpit and a relaxed seating position, enhancing overall rideability. However, the bike’s payload capacity is limited to 225 pounds, which may be a consideration for some potential buyers. Performance-wise, the Scrambler FS impresses with its quick acceleration and climbing power, aided by selectable Class 1, 2, and 3 modes that allow users to tailor the pedal assist and throttle settings to their preferences. The bike’s torque-sensing pedal assist provides responsive control, although pedalling without motor assistance is less enjoyable due to the bike’s weight and single-speed drivetrain. Safety and convenience are well addressed with features such as a protective Parent Mode that locks speed adjustments behind a PIN, integrated LED lighting with brake and turn signals, and easy access to the battery and controller for maintenance. While the Scrambler FS scores highly in terms of value, comfort, and power, there are a few areas where improvements could be made. The integrated TFT display, although visually appealing, has some shortcomings in readability and accuracy of the charge meter, and the turn signal indicators could be clearer. Nevertheless, Juiced backs the bike with a generous three-year warranty, which surpasses the industry norm and adds to its appeal. With its unique styling, solid components, and competitive pricing, the Juiced Scrambler Full-Suspension stands out as a strong contender in the moped-style e-bike market, promising an engaging and comfortable ride for urban and adventurous cyclists alike.
