This partnership brings together SMITH’s long-standing expertise in eyewear and helmets with QUOC’s innovative gravel shoe designs, offering a unique range of products featuring sandstone-inspired colourways and distinctive graphics. The collection includes four key items: two from each brand, encompassing gravel shoes, sunglasses, a helmet, and performance socks, all designed to appeal to riders seeking both style and functionality. QUOC’s contribution to the collection centres on the Gran Tourer XC Lace shoes, which represent the pinnacle of their performance line. These shoes feature a durable synthetic upper, a stiff carbon-composite sole with TPU tread lugs, and a newly designed ribbed TPU-laminated tongue that enhances comfort and breathability. The limited edition version sports a sandstone-coloured upper with fossilised prints, complemented by blue opal and jade accents, and comes with two sets of laces for versatility. Additionally, QUOC introduces the Strata Performance Gravel Socks, crafted from a breathable CoolMax blend to provide comfort and durability on mixed terrain rides. From SMITH, the collection offers the Strata Defy sunglasses and the Strata Trace MIPS helmet. The Defy sunglasses are a new colourway of SMITH’s popular model, featuring a sandstone fossil print and an interchangeable clear lens for varied light conditions, though they lack QUOC branding on the frames themselves. The Strata Trace MIPS helmet, however, prominently displays co-branding and combines proven safety technologies such as MIPS rotational impact protection and Koroyd honeycomb construction. It is finished with matching colours and accents, alongside practical features like adjustable fit, antimicrobial padding, and vents designed to stow the accompanying sunglasses.
