Gold Service - Precision, Performance & Longevity:

Our goal with the Gold Service is to restore your bike to peak mechanical condition through a comprehensive inspection, deep cleaning, and precision tuning across all major systems. This service goes far beyond basic adjustments, focusing on drivetrain efficiency, braking performance, wheel integrity, and overall ride quality. Key components are removed where necessary, thoroughly cleaned, lubricated, and correctly reassembled to ensure smooth operation, reduced wear, and long-term reliability. Every Gold Service concludes with a full test ride and functional assessment, ensuring your bike performs exactly as it should.

Who it’s for:

Riders who want their bike running at its best—smooth, quiet, efficient, and ready for demanding riding conditions.

Our goal:

To maximise performance, extend component life, and deliver a noticeably better ride.
At this level, we move beyond surface checks and adjustments. The Gold Service includes partial disassembly of key systems to allow for proper cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and precise setup. Drivetrain components are deep cleaned for crisp shifting and reduced wear, wheels are checked and trued for stability, brakes are serviced for consistent stopping power, and cockpit components are reset for comfort and control. This service is ideal for frequently ridden bikes, bikes that haven’t been serviced in a while, or riders preparing for a new season, events, or long-distance riding.
👉 Think of Gold as a full performance refresh for your bike.
If you’re unsure whether Gold is the right level for your bike, we’re always happy to assess its condition and recommend the most appropriate service based on how and where you ride.

Final Note (Trust Our Engineers):

Our service tiers are designed around real workshop experience—not upselling. Gold focuses on meaningful maintenance that improves performance, reliability, and longevity, ensuring your bike gets exactly the care it needs, when it needs it.

Overview:

Our Gold Service is our most comprehensive bicycle service, designed for riders who demand peak performance, reliability, and long-term component care. This service includes full strip-downs, deep cleaning, lubrication, and precision adjustment across every major system—ideal for high-mileage bikes, performance setups, or annual full servicing.

Structure & Frame:

What we do:
We visually inspect the frame for damage and alignment irregularities. All mounting points are checked, tightened, and torque-verified. Frame and fork alignment is also inspected.
Why it matters:
A correctly aligned and secure frame ensures safe handling, efficient power transfer, and prevents long-term structural issues.

Wheels:

What we do:
Tyres and inner tubes are inspected and pressure set correctly. Rims, hubs, spokes, and spoke nipples are checked. Wheels are trued laterally and radially, spokes are tensioned and balanced, hub bearings inspected, cleaned, and regreased if required. Sealed hub bearings are inspected and lubricated.
Why it matters:
Well-balanced, true wheels improve ride quality, stability, and rolling efficiency while reducing stress on hubs and spokes.

Drivetrain:

What we do:
Gears are indexed, aligned, and tuned. The full drivetrain is removed, deep cleaned, and re-lubricated, including chain, cassette, chainrings, jockey wheels, derailleurs, and bottom bracket. Pedals are removed, cleaned, and regreased. Derailleur hanger alignment is checked and corrected where required.
Why it matters:
A fully serviced drivetrain delivers smooth, quiet shifting, maximises efficiency, and significantly extends component lifespan.

Braking:

What we do:
Brake systems are adjusted and aligned. Levers, hoses or cables, pads, callipers, and rotors are inspected. Disc brake rotors are checked for trueness and cleaned. Hydraulic brake systems are bled if required, and brake pistons are cleaned and reset.
Why it matters:
Precision brake servicing ensures consistent stopping power, improved modulation, and confidence in all riding conditions.

Cockpit Area:

What we do:
Handlebars, stem, grips or bar tape, and headset are inspected and torque-set correctly. Headset bearings are cleaned and regreased. All controls, shifters, and brake levers are function-tested and adjusted. Cables and hoses are routed cleanly and securely.
Why it matters:
A properly set cockpit improves comfort, control, and steering accuracy while preventing unwanted movement or wear.

Suspension:

What we do:
Front suspension components are inspected, cleaned, and lubricated. Rear suspension components are inspected for wear and correct operation.
Why it matters:
Smooth suspension operation enhances traction, comfort, and bike control while protecting internal components.

Other Checks:

What we do:
The bike is fully cleaned, a full safety bolt check is carried out, chain waxing or lubrication is applied, and a detailed test ride and functional assessment is completed.
Why it matters:
This final stage ensures all systems work together flawlessly and your bike leaves the workshop in peak condition.

Our Goal:

Our goal with the Gold Service is to return your bike in near-new condition—smooth, quiet, responsive, and fully optimised—ready for demanding riding, long distances, and total rider confidence.
