JOSEP GARCIA AND ANDREA VERONA LEAD RED BULL KTM FACTORY RACING INTO 2026 ENDUROGP SEASON

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing is set to enter the 2026 FIM EnduroGP World Championship with a powerful duo of reigning champions, Josep Garcia and Andrea Verona. Both riders bring a wealth of experience and success, collectively holding 15 world titles between them. Garcia, now in his tenth season with KTM, will defend his EnduroGP and Enduro1 crowns aboard the KTM 250 EXC-F, while Verona joins the team for the first time, competing in the Enduro2 class on the KTM 450 EXC-F as the reigning Enduro2 World Champion. Josep Garcia enjoyed a stellar 2025 season, securing his second EnduroGP title and third Enduro1 crown, further cementing his status as one of the sport’s most consistent and fastest competitors. His aim for 2026 is to defend both titles, targeting a fourth consecutive Enduro1 championship and a third straight overall EnduroGP victory. Meanwhile, Andrea Verona, who boasts eight world titles across various categories including the 2022 EnduroGP crown, looks to build on his recent success and challenge for a third consecutive Enduro2 title while pushing for the top spot in the overall standings. Both riders have maintained strong form during the off-season, with Garcia achieving a podium finish in the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship and dominating the Spanish Enduro Championship. Verona impressed in the Italian Enduro Championship, showcasing his readiness for the upcoming world series. The 2026 EnduroGP season will begin in Sicily in April, followed by rounds in Spain, Finland, Portugal, France, and will conclude in Wales in August, promising a competitive and geographically diverse calendar. Garcia emphasised the positive dynamic between himself and Verona, noting their contrasting personalities and riding styles create a strong team environment that pushes them both forward. He expressed confidence in his KTM 250 EXC-F and a clear focus on defending his titles. Verona, proud to represent KTM, highlighted his comfort with the 450 EXC-F’s power and smooth handling, and his determination to improve on last season’s performances and fight for victory once again. Team manager Fabio Farioli praised the pairing’s complementary strengths and the thorough preparation undertaken during the off-season.
