Silver Service – Performance & Reliability:

Our goal with the Silver Service is to restore smooth performance, reliability, and precision across all key systems of your bike. This service goes beyond a basic safety check, focusing on accurate adjustment, wear inspection, and deeper cleaning to keep your bike running at its best.
We carry out a detailed inspection of the frame and alignment, check all mounting points and hardware, and ensure wheels are correctly set up with balanced spoke tension and true running. The drivetrain is fully inspected, aligned, tuned, and cleaned for crisp shifting, while braking systems are adjusted and inspected to deliver consistent and confident stopping power. The cockpit and suspension are checked for correct setup and smooth operation, and all critical components are function-tested. We finish with a test ride and full functional assessment to confirm everything is working as it should.

Who it’s for:

Riders who use their bike regularly and want improved performance, smoother shifting, stronger braking, and dependable reliability.

Our goal:

To optimise performance, address wear early, and ensure your bike is smooth, precise, and ready to ride.
At this level, we focus on deeper inspection, tuning, cleaning, and adjustment without full strip-downs. We correct alignment issues, fine-tune gears and brakes, service the cockpit and suspension, and address any developing problems that could affect performance or longevity. This service is ideal for bikes with moderate use, seasonal maintenance, or riders looking for a noticeable improvement in ride quality.
👉 Think of Silver as a full performance tune-up.
If you’re unsure which service is right for your bike, we’re always happy to assess it and recommend the most appropriate option based on its condition and how you ride.

Final Note (Trust Our Engineers):

Our service tiers are designed around real workshop experience — not upselling. Each level reflects what bikes genuinely need at different stages of use, ensuring honest, effective maintenance every time.

Overview:

Our Silver Service is designed as an essential maintenance package focused on safety, smooth operation, and system reliability. It is ideal for regularly ridden bikes that require routine adjustment, inspection, and performance checks to maintain consistent function and prevent premature wear.

Drivetrain System:

What we do:

We clean the drivetrain and lubricate the chain to restore smooth operation. Front and rear derailleurs are adjusted and indexed to ensure accurate shifting. Gear shifting is tested under load conditions. A drivetrain wear inspection is conducted to assess component condition.

Why it matters:

Regular drivetrain maintenance prevents excessive friction, poor shifting performance, and accelerated wear. Correct adjustment ensures smooth gear changes and protects expensive drivetrain components from early replacement.

Brake System:

What we do:

A full brake inspection is performed. Brake callipers are aligned and brake pads inspected for wear. Mechanical brake cables are adjusted where applicable, and hydraulic brake performance is checked. Minor brake adjustments are carried out to optimise function.

Why it matters:

Brake reliability is critical for rider safety. Routine inspection and adjustment ensure consistent stopping power, proper pad contact, and predictable braking performance.

Bearings & Rotational Systems:

What we do:

The headset is checked and adjusted for proper preload. The bottom bracket is inspected for play.Hub bearings are checked for smoothness and correct tension. All rotational components are inspected for general condition.

Why it matters:

Properly adjusted bearings reduce drag, eliminate play, and protect components from premature damage. Maintaining smooth rotational systems improves efficiency and ride stability.

Wheels & Tyres:

What we do:

Wheels receive minor truing adjustments where required. Tyres are inspected for wear and damage, and tyre pressure is set correctly.

Why it matters:

Wheel alignment and correct tyre pressure improve handling, rolling efficiency, and rider confidence. Routine inspection reduces the risk of unexpected failures.

Cockpit & Controls:

What we do:

Handlebar, stem, and seat post alignment are checked. A bolt check is performed on major components. Cables and hoses are inspected for wear and routing. Controls are aligned for optimal rider input.

Why it matters:

Secure cockpit components and correctly aligned controls are essential for safe handling and responsive performance. Regular inspection prevents loosening, misalignment, and control inconsistencies.

Final Quality Assurance:

What we do:

A full safety bolt check is completed across key components. The bike undergoes a test ride and performance assessment. Final adjustments are completed as required.

Why it matters:

Final validation ensures all systems operate safely and smoothly before the bike leaves the workshop.
