Gold Service - Precision, Performance & Longevity:

Our goal with the Gold Service is to restore your bike to peak mechanical condition through a comprehensive inspection, deep cleaning, and precision tuning across all major systems. This service goes far beyond basic adjustments, focusing on drivetrain efficiency, braking performance, wheel integrity, and overall ride quality. Key components are removed where necessary, thoroughly cleaned, lubricated, and correctly reassembled to ensure smooth operation, reduced wear, and long-term reliability. Every Gold Service concludes with a full test ride and functional assessment, ensuring your bike performs exactly as it should.

Who it’s for:

Riders who want their bike running at its best—smooth, quiet, efficient, and ready for demanding riding conditions.

Our goal:

To maximise performance, extend component life, and deliver a noticeably better ride.
At this level, we move beyond surface checks and adjustments. The Gold Service includes partial disassembly of key systems to allow for proper cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and precise setup. Drivetrain components are deep cleaned for crisp shifting and reduced wear, wheels are checked and trued for stability, brakes are serviced for consistent stopping power, and cockpit components are reset for comfort and control. This service is ideal for frequently ridden bikes, bikes that haven’t been serviced in a while, or riders preparing for a new season, events, or long-distance riding.
👉 Think of Gold as a full performance refresh for your bike.
If you’re unsure whether Gold is the right level for your bike, we’re always happy to assess its condition and recommend the most appropriate service based on how and where you ride.

Final Note (Trust Our Engineers):

Our service tiers are designed around real workshop experience—not upselling. Gold focuses on meaningful maintenance that improves performance, reliability, and longevity, ensuring your bike gets exactly the care it needs, when it needs it.

Overview:

Our Gold Service is a comprehensive performance tune designed to restore smooth operation, improve safety, and extend component life. It is ideal for regularly ridden bikes that require detailed inspection, precision adjustment, and system optimisation without the full strip-down of our Platinum package.

Drivetrain System:

What we do:

We perform an on-bike deep clean of the drivetrain to remove contamination and restore efficiency. The chain, cassette, and chainrings are inspected for wear. Derailleur hanger alignment is checked, and both front and rear derailleurs are tuned and precisely indexed. The drivetrain is lubricated and all components are assessed for service life.

Why it matters:

A clean and correctly aligned drivetrain shifts more accurately, reduces friction losses, and prevents premature wear. Routine servicing maintains efficiency and protects expensive components from early replacement.

Brake System:

What we do:

A full brake system inspection is conducted. Calipers are cleaned and aligned to ensure even pad contact. Pistons are cleaned and reset where necessary. Hydraulic brake systems are bled if required. Rotor trueness is checked, and brake pads are inspected for wear and contamination.

Why it matters:

Proper brake alignment and hydraulic integrity ensure consistent stopping power, improved modulation, and rider safety. Regular inspection prevents uneven pad wear and unwanted noise.

Bearings & Rotational Systems:

What we do:

The headset is inspected and adjusted for correct preload. The bottom bracket is checked for smoothness and play. Hub bearings are inspected and adjusted where possible. Freehub engagement is checked for responsiveness and smooth operation.

Why it matters:

Correct bearing preload reduces drag and protects components from premature failure. Smooth rotational systems improve efficiency, stability, and overall ride quality.

Wheels & Tyres

What we do:

Wheels receive minor lateral truing adjustments where required. Spoke tension is checked for balance and structural integrity. Tyres are inspected for wear, casing condition, and damage. Tyre pressure is set appropriately.

Why it matters:

Proper wheel alignment ensures predictable handling and reduces stress on frame and components. Correct tyre setup improves comfort, traction, and rolling efficiency.

Cockpit & Controls:

What we do:

A bolt check is performed on cockpit components to manufacturer torque specification. Gear and brake controls are aligned and optimised. Cable and hose condition is inspected for wear and correct routing.

Why it matters:

Secure and correctly aligned controls ensure rider safety and precise handling input. Proper cable and hose condition maintains consistent shifting and braking performance.

Suspension (If Applicable):

What we do:

Fork and rear shock are inspected for function and wear. Stanchions are cleaned. Suspension sag is checked and adjusted according to rider setup requirements.

Why it matters:

Correct suspension setup improves comfort, traction, and control. Routine inspection helps identify wear before it becomes a costly repair.

Final Quality Assurance:

What we do:

A complete safety bolt check is performed across all critical components. The bike undergoes a test ride and performance assessment. Final tuning adjustments are completed to ensure optimal function.

Why it matters:

Final validation ensures all systems operate together correctly and the bike leaves the workshop safe, smooth, and reliable.
