Bronze Service – Safety & Ride Readiness:

Our goal with the Bronze Service is to give your bike a full safety and performance check across all its core systems. We carefully inspect the frame and alignment, ensure wheels and tyres are correctly set up, tune the drivetrain for smooth shifting, and adjust braking for reliable stopping power. The cockpit and suspension are checked for correct setup and control, while all critical bolts are inspected for safety. We finish with a test ride and functional assessment to confirm everything is working as it should, keeping your bike safe, comfortable, and ready to ride.

Who it’s for:

Riders who want their bike checked, adjusted, and made safe for regular use.

Our goal:

To ensure your bike is safe, functional, and ready to ride.
At this level, we focus on inspection and adjustment rather than disassembly. We check all critical systems for safety, tune gears and brakes, confirm correct setup, and address any obvious issues that could affect reliability or comfort. This service is ideal for newer bikes, lightly used bikes, or riders who want peace of mind before getting back on the road or trail.
👉 Think of Bronze as a full safety and performance check.
If you’re unsure, we’re always happy to assess your bike and recommend the most appropriate service based on its condition and your riding needs.

Final Note (Trust Our Engineers):

Our service tiers are not designed to sell unnecessary work. They are built from decades of workshop experience, focusing on what your bike actually needs, when it needs it.

Overview:

Our Bronze Service is designed to cover all the essential safety and performance checks your bike needs for reliable, everyday riding. Each area is carefully inspected and adjusted to ensure your bike is safe, smooth, and ready to ride.

Structure & Frame:

What we do:
We inspect the frame for damage and visually check alignment.
Why it matters:
The frame is the foundation of your bike. Checking for cracks, dents, or alignment issues ensures your bike is safe to ride and helps catch potential problems early.

Wheels:

What we do:
We inspect tyres and inner tubes, set correct air pressure, and check rims, hubs, spokes, and axles.
Why it matters:
Wheels affect stability, comfort, and control. Proper tyre pressure and spoke tension help prevent punctures, improve handling, and ensure your wheels spin straight and smoothly.

Drivetrain:

What we do:
We inspect and tune the gears, check the shifter, chain, cassette, crankset, pedals, derailleurs, and bottom bracket.
Why it matters:
The drivetrain is what makes your bike move. Correct indexing and inspection ensure smooth gear changes, efficient pedalling, and reduced wear on components—making every ride easier and quieter.

Braking:

What we do:
We adjust and align brakes, inspect levers, cables or hoses, and check brake pads, rotors, and callipers.
Why it matters:
Brakes are your most important safety feature. This ensures consistent stopping power, proper lever feel, and confidence when riding in traffic, on trails, or in wet conditions.

Cockpit Area:

What we do:
We inspect handlebars, stem, grips or bar tape, and headset, ensuring everything is torqued correctly and adjusted.
Why it matters:
Your cockpit controls how you steer and balance the bike. Proper adjustment improves comfort, control, and handling while preventing looseness or unwanted movement.

Suspension:

What we do:
We inspect front and rear suspension components.
Why it matters:
Suspension affects comfort and control. Checking for obvious issues helps ensure smooth operation and identifies any concerns before they develop into bigger problems.

Other Checks:

What we do:
We wipe the bike down, perform a full safety bolt check, and complete a test ride and functional assessment.
Why it matters:
The final check ensures everything works together as it should. The test ride confirms adjustments are correct and that your bike leaves the workshop safe, functional, and ready to ride.

Our Goal:

Our goal with the Bronze Service is to give you confidence—knowing your bike has been professionally checked, correctly adjusted, and safely prepared for everyday riding.
