Isaac del Toro secured the overall victory at the Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes with a commanding performance on the final stage, claiming his second consecutive mountaintop win at the Plateau de Solaison. Starting the day in third place and nearly a minute behind leader Luke Tuckwell, del Toro launched a decisive attack nine kilometres from the summit on the steep hors-catégorie climb. He quickly erased his deficit and powered to the finish line alone, more than a minute ahead of his rivals, to clinch the yellow jersey in dramatic fashion. The race finale was marked by relentless climbing, featuring several tough ascents including the Col du Pré, Montée de Bisanne, Col des Aravis, and the final Plateau de Solaison. The breakaway formed early, but the peloton, led by UAE Team Emirates and Lidl-Trek, steadily reduced their advantage. Despite a valiant effort from Tuckwell, who fought back with the help of teammate Maxim Van Gils after being dropped early on the final climb, he was unable to match del Toro’s pace and ultimately finished second overall.
