Silver Service – Performance & Reliability:

Our goal with the Silver Service is to restore smooth performance, reliability, and precision across all key systems of your bike. This service goes beyond a basic safety check, focusing on accurate adjustment, wear inspection, and deeper cleaning to keep your bike running at its best.
We carry out a detailed inspection of the frame and alignment, check all mounting points and hardware, and ensure wheels are correctly set up with balanced spoke tension and true running. The drivetrain is fully inspected, aligned, tuned, and cleaned for crisp shifting, while braking systems are adjusted and inspected to deliver consistent and confident stopping power. The cockpit and suspension are checked for correct setup and smooth operation, and all critical components are function-tested. We finish with a test ride and full functional assessment to confirm everything is working as it should.

Who it’s for:

Riders who use their bike regularly and want improved performance, smoother shifting, stronger braking, and dependable reliability.

Our goal:

To optimise performance, address wear early, and ensure your bike is smooth, precise, and ready to ride.
At this level, we focus on deeper inspection, tuning, cleaning, and adjustment without full strip-downs. We correct alignment issues, fine-tune gears and brakes, service the cockpit and suspension, and address any developing problems that could affect performance or longevity. This service is ideal for bikes with moderate use, seasonal maintenance, or riders looking for a noticeable improvement in ride quality.
👉 Think of Silver as a full performance tune-up.
If you’re unsure which service is right for your bike, we’re always happy to assess it and recommend the most appropriate option based on its condition and how you ride.

Final Note (Trust Our Engineers):

Our service tiers are designed around real workshop experience — not upselling. Each level reflects what bikes genuinely need at different stages of use, ensuring honest, effective maintenance every time.

Overview:

Our Silver Service is a comprehensive inspection, adjustment, and cleaning package designed for riders who want more than basic safety checks. It includes deeper drivetrain cleaning, wheel truing, headset servicing, and suspension care to improve performance, reliability, and ride quality.
This service is ideal for regularly ridden bikes, bikes with noticeable wear, or riders who want their bike running smoother, quieter, and more efficiently.

Structure & Frame:

What we do:
We inspect the frame for damage and visually check for alignment irregularities. All mounting points and frame hardware are inspected for condition and security.
Why it matters:
The frame is the foundation of your bike. Catching alignment or hardware issues early helps prevent long-term damage and ensures safe, predictable handling.

Wheels:

What we do:
We inspect tyres and inner tubes, set correct air pressure, and check rims, hubs, spokes, nipples, and axles. Quick-release or thru-axle systems are inspected. Wheels are trued laterally and radially, spoke tension is checked and balanced, and axles are inspected and adjusted.
Why it matters:
Properly trued and tensioned wheels improve comfort, efficiency, and control while reducing uneven wear and preventing future failures.

Drivetrain:

What we do:
We index, align, and tune the gears. The shifter, chain, cassette, crank set, pedals, derailleurs (front & rear), bottom bracket, and derailleur hanger are inspected. The chain is removed for deep cleaning, inner gear and brake cables are replaced where required, outer housings are inspected and lubricated, and all drivetrain components are cleaned, lubricated, and correctly adjusted.
Why it matters:
A clean and precisely aligned drivetrain shifts more smoothly, runs quieter, lasts longer, and delivers power more efficiently — making every ride feel better.

Braking:

What we do:
We adjust and align brakes, inspect and lubricate brake levers, check brake cables or hydraulic hoses, and inspect rim braking surfaces. Disc brake rotors, callipers, and brake pads are inspected and cleaned.
Why it matters:
Reliable braking is critical for rider safety. Correct setup ensures consistent stopping power, good lever feel, and confidence in all riding conditions.

Cockpit Area:

What we do:
We inspect handlebars (flat, drop, or riser), stem, grips or bar tape, and controls. The headset is removed, cleaned, regreased, and adjusted correctly. Shifters and brake levers are function-tested and adjusted, and all fasteners are torqued to specification.
Why it matters:
Your cockpit controls steering and balance. Proper adjustment improves comfort, control, and safety while preventing premature wear or loosening.

Suspension:

What we do:
We inspect front suspension, clean and lubricate stanchions, and inspect rear suspension components.
Why it matters:
Suspension condition directly affects comfort and control. Regular inspection and care help ensure smooth operation and prevent costly damage.

Other Checks:

What we do:
We clean the bike, perform a full safety bolt check, bleed hydraulic brakes where required, complete an ultrasonic drivetrain clean, and finish with a test ride and functional assessment.
Why it matters:
The final checks ensure every system works together as intended. The test ride confirms correct adjustments so your bike leaves the workshop safe, smooth, and ready to ride.

Our Goal:

Our goal with the Silver Service is to deliver a bike that feels noticeably smoother, quieter, and more refined — giving you confidence that your bike has been thoroughly serviced, properly cleaned, and professionally set up for continued use.
